fact #122: no facts for today, my minds dead for now
Timechecked: 2.21 amA few more hours and it's going to be a new year. Still haven't thought of any new years resolution yet. But 2006 has been a great year i might say. Tonnes of new friends were made every since i entered poly. There might be some bad times here and there but heck with it. Just hoping that 2007 will be a nice year for me.
Somehow, i've been tuned to sleeping till the wee hours. Just hope that this doesn't affect me by making me wake-up late. Reason being because school is opening soon, wednesday ah for people who don't know, and that class begins at 9 am. I can't afford to wake up late. Really. No more spending $$ on cabs!!!!!Maybe that can be my first resolution. No more money on cabs, well not that much.
Bake some more cakes just now. Whahaha. How many cakes am i baking. Well, over 20!!!! Alot you might say but tomorrows Hari Raya Haji, so giving 6 cakes to each side of my parents family. We keep some of course and give away some.
Grandpa(father's side), was admitted to the hospital again!!!! Argh! i just hate going to the hospital! Grandad(mother's side) just got realese from the hospital. And that old guy is stuborn. He refused to take the medicines. It's easier to give my grandpa meds. If he never take my mum would nag and nag and nag. And now mum is nagging at grandad to take meds. Whahaha. After Hari Raya, grandad will be sent to the hospital. He's at my aunt house just because my grandmum is tired of walking back and forth from Bedok to the hospital. Pity grandmum.
Hmm, wonder when will Dominic send me the mail!!!!
Anyways what i wanted to say is this....

fact #121 : i bake yesi do!!!! why can't some of you believe that!!!!
Meeting or should i say debried was cancelled for the open house thing. So i decided to head down to Bugis alon with Froggy since Amal said she can't make it. Bought myself two pants. Froggy showed me this expensive place where that Kheng Li would prefer us to print out pics from. Imgaine $15 per contact sheet for small thumbnails and $30 for bigger ones. Die ah die. I think if can afford then print there lah. Met Fir and Izam along the way.Amal called later on to ask if i was free the next day,yesterday since it's pass 12 am. Help Hassanah paint murals for this place. Okay lah but have to go home early a little to bake. and Hassanah didn't believe that i need to get back early to bake. whahaha. Seriously girl, i do bake but once in a blue moon . Hari Raya Haji coming mah so bake lor. I got paint all over and i created the most mess lah. Sorry about that though.
Imagine standing up painting for a few hours, stand from all the way from Novena to Simei, ot home stand up to bake. Seriously damn tiring. I was like standing for one whole day. Got home and mum was all ready to bake. Got no time to rest some more. Half was through her friend, dad friend too lah called if they wanted to go out and grab some drinks. I was left alone!!!! Baking all alone!!! That was the worst ever. Usually i got helpers but suddenly was left alone. So i rushed like hell lah. It was already at night 10pm when she left. Still got alot to do. Have to mix all the stuff, make sure everything correct proportion, the cake was not burn, cut it, package it.... I tell you my kitchen was in a whole lot of mess. I should have taken a pic of it!!! And now i finally got to rest! To my friends out there, not to fret, i'll bring some to school like i usually do. Anyways, it's the same cake. The nutella cake. I know Sam and Macson would love it.
Check what cds is available! Omg ! Only a few to choose. Economics and Accountings are a no-no for me. Creative writting will kill me. So my top three choices are Japanese, Public speaking and Italian. I did not know there's Italaian as a cds! hmm, why isn't there Korean!!!! Public speaking is good for me i guess since i'm not that comfortable speaking in public yet even though i can be quite outspoken...And i need to know when elective subject selection will commence. I want to get rid of all electives by yr 2 leh! cds too.
I think right, one of you guys out there must seriously pull me to the doctor. I can't stop coughing for now. My throat itch a little. When oh when will my doctor visit be? It's not that i'm scared of doctor but i'm just lazy to wait for a feew hours just to see a doctor for a mere 5 - 10 mins! Life sucks i know.

fact #120 : love to swear alot, so please don't be shock when i use them
For one whole day, it has been a movie marathon. Dad bought 13 new dvds to watch. Guess what? I've watched Saw 3. For those people like Grace, Firziana and Nadia, reccomend that you should not watch it.Note to people who has digital cable. You can actually get additional channel for a certain period of time unexpectedly. I mean like for now, no notices were given to tell that we would be getting some add channel for i don't know how long. well, not that i know of any. For now, we got some free channel esp KBS. and it's a Korean channel. What else, watch lah...weee
Here's what i am thinking? How much stress level would i be amount to starting tomorrow?
I am certainly going for foc/w as a sub-comm of course. There's no change for that unless i seriously have to quit. Meetings or whatsoever get-together for foc/w.
Then there's design camp for freshies. Not too sure if there's otc for design. There would be meetings and get-together for these i'm sure esp meetings since i want to be in programme department. If i get to become head then more meetings.
Then there's open house. Dominic called earlier to ask whether i'm intrested to help head the execution of open house.Of course i would lah, for experience. Froggy will assists. Yeah!
Last but not least all the school works which will mount day by day. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All i could say for now is No Problem! Hope i won't back out in any of these. The only thing i'm scared about now is for my cds. Leadership skills whatsoever. Attendence would be taken! Urgh!
Anyways, Eric sent an email about selection of electives and cds. Wonder for which sems it will be?
An i still haven't visit the doctor yet! whahahaha.

fact #119: Frowning burns more calories than smiling.
First i would like to wish all a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year!Well, just came finish camp yesterday. Kind of tiring since i only get to sleep about an hour plus everyday but somehow or another i was quite fresh everyday during camp esp at night. Got to know people from various schools, business people the most. Temalia's the theme and my group is Aminlicious (food/admin). Didn't have that much time to play though as all was revolve around preparing food and SLEEP! Everyone bonded quite fast though.
Grace, Qinghui and me exchange gift for Christmas. Thanks for the gift! Soonpoh, Jasmin and Grace(again), gave a card and chocolate!!!! They are the main head for food/admin. Many greetings were exchange.

well, well, second day of camp counting day zero! a little tired i must say but well, it's alright.Just finish some admin stuff and debrief! I'm so happy that my sucky lappie can access the net. Well, Jasline and Tien Min said that there's something wrong with the hard drive but who knows.Those two are computer expert. They talk to me about computer stuff yesterday night and i was totally clueless. Hehe. Only got to sleep for an hour or so yesterday. and have to wake up by 5.30 am today!!!!!!
Night walk tomorrow and guess it's gonna be intresting! Day 1 of camp has passed. Waiting for day 2. Okay lah i want to watch "a love to kill" recommended by Cheryl. Ciow.

fact #117: The only food that doesn't spoil is honey.
All alone at home. Family went for a holiday.I don't know where and how long they will go. All i know is they are going to go balik kampung(father's side) and K.L. ahhh, i have camp tomorrow you see so i can'r follow. Anyways, i'm tired of going back to Malaysia. It's always the same thing. But i wonder how Darin is, my little niece in Klang, Malaysia.I hope the weather won't rain that bad for the next few days cause for god sake, there's goin to be a camp!!!!
The other day, Saturday, had a meeting earlier on about the camp. Found out that KJ was also in Changkat primary like me. Now where's that yearbook? Following that, Amaline called saying that Ida want to hang out. Actually we were suppose to hang out that day but was cancelled earlier but then Ida called saying this so what else, go out lah. It's very rare to go out with her nowdays you know. It's been such a long time since i saw her. I miss that laughters of hers.
So yesterday went out to buy stuff from camp and print stuff. On the way back home met Adillah. My madrasah friend. It's been a while since i see her. Told me that she's going Korea. Hmm, i went there before but that was whwn i was a todler. OMG!Korea's snowing now. So fun. So she asked me to give some advise lah. Hmm, no splippery shoes, long john is a must and most importantly can food!!!! cause it's hard to find halal food there!!!!
So, i'm off now, going to watch Full House again!!!! Bi's cute! And you know what, i still haven't recover yet. having couh now. And with camp coming up, hope i won't have a sore throat!

fact #116 : A queen bee can lay 800-1500 eggs per day.
Been very busy going out lately...The day after coming back, i had a family bbq. Cousin b'dea. No pics will be posted up for that one. The day after that, Esther smses if i wanted to go out for an outing. Well, i can't because i had no voice for that entire day and mum wouldn't let me. Ahh, no fair, the went to Jack's place then Swensen then watch Deja Vu. I want to catch that...Argh!!!Today there was the design camp meeting. All we did was to think of a theme+rational and choose what role you want to be in. I went for the programme head interview as well. Hope no ones beside Eileen will try out for that role. But it's going to be tough. Because if i do get into foc/w, which i hope i'll be in, then it will be a back to back camp.Foc/w first followed by design camp. So there is going to be tonnes of meeting during that time.And if possible i want to join D-Guides for open house.Ahhh!!! Beside that, with block teaching we have no holidays so we are forced to take LOA(leave of absence). And what about our assignments. Die ah die. Oh well, if i cannot be head, assistant head also can lah. haha.
After the meeting, i went to IKEA with some of them to eat and walk around. And that's where i learned new and intrestin about my fellow schoolmates. Looks like we have a few students with pilots as thier dad. Wow! k, so whatever lah. In Ikea, me, Grace and Froggy took photos, the rest had to go off. Grace wanted to view some stuff which she can buy for her room.
This Saturday there's going to be a gathering for food/admin. Following that i have an outing with the girls, Amal, Raudah and Siti, not too sure about the rest.

fact #115 : Mascot name for Olypics in Beijing derives from the line " Bei Jing Huan Ying NI"(Beijing welcomes you) Beibei, Jingjing, etc.
I've left my boyfriend in Beijing to come back to S'pore. Oh man, i rather be there now then here. I didn't expect the weather there to be that cold. If only dad had book the nigh flight like his friends, i would have arrived beck tomorrow and not today! Guess they are doing some last minutes shopping there!We went there by tour, which i didn't know. I thought food would be the hardest thing to find but i was wrong. We were apperently stuffed with local MUSLIM dishes! And with my basic mandarin, i was able to communicate here and there especiallty with my boyfriend! haha.
Summer Palace, Tianmin square, pearl market, silk market, forbidden cities and the great wall are just a few places which i went to. Didn't bought much stuff for myself though, i think! And countless pictures were taken!
The best thing was we went skiing! There's no snow there yet so went to these place with artificial snow. I prefer real snow though! But it snowed once there just fro an hour or so! I wanna ski again! And damn i was fast when i skiied! wee.
Bargaining is a must there of course. From 420 yuan, must try and bargain for 20yuan. Something like that. haha. I like the bargaining part. Very funny. Every store will have the same tone of voice or same aprroach of selling. But what i don't like the most is when they thought we are from Malaysia and not S'pore! Really i tell you i hate that, even in Dubai too we were known as Malaysian and not S'porean.
There are lots to say but if i write everything down, it will be very boring right! So best of luck to Jasmine, our tour guide and Dong or is it Tong or Song, i don't know lah, our bus driver. They are a very nice and funny people. Oh, Dong/Song/Tong is the boyfriend i mentioned! I share him with Iqah, father's friend daughter! Since he can't speak English except for 'No, Yes, Ok' i speak with him in mandarin of course with Jasmine help with some words.
Did i mentioned that i haven't recovered from my sorethroat and cough yet? i haven't. hehe

fact #114: Doesn't take bother of how long and when it ends my family holidays will be. All i want to know is which country i will go to. hehe
I was praying hard for my tastebud to come back at least for today since there's a bbq...and well, it did.Well, today was quite a fun day...Had class bbq. It was quite fun even with the turnups. Photos for previous post and class bbq will be up another day. Too tired now to post. So, we had our bbq at Esther's place. See-saws and swings were near the pits. Justin was the only guy there. Sad i know. Sam was tired because he had TPrawks beforehand, Macson was working, Ron lost his wallet and was tryin to look for it(omg! he just lost his thumbdrive just the other day), Joshua had church camp and lastly Sean, of all things he decided to go to a farm (i don't know what farm) with his friends who he had promise to go with earlier. Anyways, we decided on the bbq last minute you see and called some of them the day before. Well, we aimed and bought food for 10 people and we got 12. That's good at least.
There's Me, Justin, Esther, her mum, her grandmum, Grace, Karwen, Hazimah, Li jia, Naomi, Arian and Ryan. Well, Arian and Ryan are these primary two unknown 4th storey neighbour of Esther. You see we saw these two kids playing around and ask if they wanted to have some food. Children are shy, when asked they will say no but when you bring them the food, there, automatically, a yes. And they joined us for the rest of the day. Being rude ( Ryan and Arian ) these kids never said thanks and well, i say in a loud manner but not shout to them to say thanks. Haha. So all the way, never did we sit to eat. All of us just crowded around the firepit and just ate to our hearts content. To those who miss out, these are what we had. Chicken, prawns, dory fish, potato, sweet potato, sausage (plain and cheese), pasta, crabstick, otah, sotong, portobellas, jellies, chocolate mousse and chocolate fondue for marshmellow. That's all i think, haha to make you all jealous you see. We forgot about the watermelon.
You see since we cook and eat just directly from the pit, we do not feel that full till the end of the day. That was when i notice that we sure ate alot. Haha. Oh did i mention that we took nearly 2 hrs to start the fire. Because the wind was blowing hard. We surely enjoyed playing with the see-saws and swings, esp the sae-saw.Esther mum sure helped us alot. Thanks autie. wee. I want to have another bbq, but not too soon. haha. At night, Arian actually brought his dog out, who's named was "ogy" but we heard it as "orgy". haha. and he told a very very critisizing ghost story which involves me and Karwen and a monkey! Did i mentioned that he is just primary two and his mum allows him to stay up till late. Wow. He also brought down his pet hamster. And we saw a very beutiful night sky. There was like a circle around the moon a few meters away, from my view of course, which i assume was created by the clouds.
Out of the blue, i remember about my bus driver when i was in primary school and told them about it when we open the jelly packet and there was this Sailormoon sticker. Now, that uncle sounds pervertic thinking what he has done for me back then, which was to buy me stickers everyday and which i still do keep. Haha. I was stupid enough to bring face wash, towel and jeans and not shirt for the bbq. When i got back my shirt was all dirty!
I hope my soarthroat and cough clear up by tomorrow which i don't think will happen after all those food. Do you know why, in my previous post i siad i will be leaving on monday night right ! but Nooooo, i will be leaving heading for the airport tomorrow night. Flight will be around 12+ or 1+ in the morning. And i was like wtf!!!! i haven't even thought of what to bring yet. I haven't even buy a canvas shoe. Shit!!!
So maybe i'll post up something tomorrow but starting tomorrow night, i would not be online for God knows how long! I hope i'll enjoy myself. See you guys soon!!!

fact #113: Seals sleep only one and a half minutes at a time.
Even when i am sick, i can be quite busy. For the whole day today, everything or anything i eat was tasteless. All due to my flu. Urgh!In the morning i meet Zakiah. We walked2 around Tampines. She wanted to buy something for her boyfriend. Such a wacky girl. After that met Esther and Grace at PS. Amal called earlier whether i can meet up or not but then i got other plans. Went to Daiso and Carrefour to buy stuff for class bbq. It was fun going out shopping for food. And guess what, witha minimum purchase of $60 bucks, you can buy this 1m bear for $28 bucks and Grace bought it. Haha. It was adorable, the bear i mean. Pics will be posted up later lah, very lazy now. hehe. So then w went to Esther's place to put the stuff. Wah! I like her place. It's like the cds heaven! haha. i was like so amazed by the list of cds that she has. Wow. well, her mum actually. Now if i want to borrow cds, i know who to look for. Haha. I borrowed Lavender from her. Yippie. I actually wanted to watch it by tomorrow since there's only like 1 disc. But when i reach home, my bro was using the comp, well i usually watch cds from the comp. The dvd/cd playr in my room has not been installed yet. And when he finish using, the Doha Asian games opening ceremony has started.
I must say, i like the visual effects for that. And also the vibrant colours. Wow. But some parts i think abit draggy lah but it's a marvelous ceremony altogether. And i like the lighting or torch part. The horse like, wow, galloping all the way up. And i think that's my first time i see the torch is desin in that way. Usually its design is like the normal torch design i mean when ligthed up. It's usually lighted up in a horizontal way but this time it's vertical. I just like the opening ceremony for this.
And and i actually thought that i was going on tuesday when it's actually on monday. wow, so fast. Beacuse i was kinda shocked that my mum has started packing most stuff.
